Breaking news:NATO to Conduct Military Mission in Ukraine Without Hungarian Participation, Says Prime Minister Viktor Orban

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has announced that Hungary will not participate in NATO’s upcoming military mission in Ukraine.

In a recent statement, Orban emphasized his government’s commitment to avoiding involvement in the conflict. “There is a minimum goal that has been achieved. The European train is traveling towards war. If our government is supported by the people in the European Parliament elections, I can press the stop valve, the train will stop, and Hungarians can get off it,” Orban declared.

Orban’s comments highlight Hungary’s position as it distances itself from potential military engagements and reflects the broader concerns of Hungarian leadership regarding involvement in the escalating situation in Ukraine. As NATO prepares for its mission, Hungary’s decision marks a significant stance within the alliance.
